PRP / Vampire Facial
This is a cosmetic skin rejuvenation treatment. Individual results vary. No medical regeneration claims are made.
What is PRP / Vampire Facial?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) facial treatment uses components derived from a small sample of your own blood to support skin rejuvenation and enhance skin quality. The PRP is processed and then applied or introduced into the skin to support a fresher, more radiant appearance.
This treatment is performed for cosmetic skin appearance and revitalisation.
Cosmetic skin rejuvenation only. No medical regeneration claims.
Benefits
Acne
The exfoliating action of superficial chemical peels allow dead skin and excess oil to be removed, helping to unclog pores to help reduce the appearance of pimples.
Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
Chemical peels help to improve collagen production in skin.
Rough skin
With chemical peels the dead skin cells are removed and the increased collagen production leads to smoother skin.
Large freckles/ hyperpigmentation
Chemical peels can lighten and even out the tone and appearance of skin
Benefits of PRP / Vampire Facial
- PRP is often chosen by clients who want to support:
- Brighter, more refreshed-looking skin
- Improved skin texture and smoothness
- A more even-looking complexion
- The appearance of fine lines
- Overall skin quality and radiance
Difference
The difference between dermal fillers and skin boosters:
- Fillers use Hyaluronic Acid to fill and restore volume to create a fuller look.
- Skin boosters are like traditional fillers made from Hyaluronic Acid but rather than working to fill the space they are designed to hydrate the skin, not restore volume. Like an ‘injectable moisturiser.’

The increased collagen and elastin will lead to skin feeling softer and more plump as the “bounce” and skin fullness is restored.

Pre-treatment advice
To support a safe procedure and reduce bruising risk, we recommend:
- Avoid anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofenfor 3 days prior (if medically appropriate for you)
- Avoid alcohol, fish oils, St John’s Wort, ginkgo biloba and vitamin E for 3 days prior
- Consider arnica if you are prone to bruising
- Avoid sunbeds and tanning for 1 week prior
- Inform us of any recent aesthetic treatments or changes to medical history
Planning note:
Do not plan treatment within 2 weeks of an important social event or holiday, as this may not allow enough time for healing if bruising or swelling occurs.
Aftercare advice for PRP / Vampire Facial
The following advice helps reduce the risk of complications, support comfort/healing, and help achieve the best possible cosmetic outcome.
- The treated area may feel tender and appear red and swollen afterwards. This can look similar to mild sunburn and is usually improved after 48 hours, but can take longer to settle
- Cold compresses may help swelling. Arnica cream may help bruising resolution
- If you experience mild discomfort, simple over-the-counter pain relief such as paracetamol may be used (if suitable for you)

- Use a mild cleanser with tepid water for 3 days and gently pat dry
- Avoid perfumes, fake tan or harsh chemicals for 72 hours
- Avoid make-up for 24 hours to reduce infection risk
- Avoid rubbing, picking, or touching the treated area unnecessarily
